Operations: Idea Activity at Work

Typically, an Idea Activity project involves the following:

  • Participants Selected: from workplace, enterprise, region, customers, suppliers or others
  • Introduction of Idea Activity, a performance metric, that measures what (workplace) participants report is happening to ideas in their environment.
  • Access typical Idea Activity measurements about what is happening to ideas in the group (workplace, enterprise, region).
  • On-line access or direct access to participants: information is non-attributable
  • Compilation, review and cross-tabulation of idea activity information
  • Discovery and sharing of insights about Idea Activity
  • Constructively challenge and improve organisational performance and innovation

Outcome:

  • Build, manage, sustain and embed innovation
  • Provide workshop feedback on the application of Idea Activity.
  • Enable participants to apply Idea Activity information to improve innovative performance.
